RESPECT! That is what women deserve in the sneaker community so my goal is for you to meet some of these women via my blog so you can get an understanding on how they feel. There are 3 major questions that come to mind for this topic:

If you could change one thing about how women are treated and/or perceived in the sneaker community, what would it be?

What does respect female sneakerheads mean to you?
NEVER COUNT US OUT. We belong just as much, if not more than any male in the sneaker world. Working in this industry I see it first hand. They don’t respect us enough. Our opinions & creative aspect matters and can lead us so much further.
Who is one woman in the sneaker community you look up to and why?
There’s so many women in the community that I look up to but my favorite is @Br00klynBetty she’s such a down to earth person & her style is unmatched. All the girls are literally out here killing the game.
If you could change one thing about how women are treated and/or perceived in the sneaker community, what would it be?
Make sure the authentic sneaker girl gets the recognition she deserves. Often times the true female sneaker heads get overlooked and we end up with representation from women that have no clue what’s going on. We then get mislead & misinformed when this happens. Brands need to come and speak with the women that actually influence the culture not just celebrities & popular women on ig.
