RESPECT! That is what women deserve in the sneaker community so my goal is for you to meet some of these women via my blog so you can get an understanding on how they feel. There are 3 major questions that come to mind for this topic:
What does respect female sneakerheads mean to you?
Who is one woman in the sneaker community you look up to and why?
If you could change one thing about how women are treated and/or perceived in the sneaker community, what would it be?
Who else is better to learn from then the women within the community? Today we will hear from Ashley, a woman whose fashion is so amazing! She gives us so many good looks paired with different kicks; let’s see what respect female sneakerheads means to her!
What does respect female sneakerheads mean to you?
Women empowering women. For years men have been the forefront of sneaker culture. Until recently I’ve seen more women that have a love for sneakers shine.
Who is one woman in the sneaker community you look up to and why?
Aleali May, I loved how she stepped into the sneaker scene and dominated with her creations. Each shoe she has created has such uniqueness to it. I’ve only been able to cop one of her sneakers so far lol
If you could change one thing about how women are treated and/or perceived in the sneaker community, what would it be?
Support. I see a lot of women supporting women in the sneaker community but that’s it. I believe it would have such an impact in the sneaker community if we received support from everyone, not just women.
Hearing these words from different women in the sneaker community is so inspiring! Each lady brings a different view point and perspective. Ashley made a good point, there needs to be more support not just from one woman to another! We need support from everyone! I hope my blog can help give more women the voice they deserve and to be seen in a way they deserve!
